Rockwell Residence - Cheshire, CT

Design Challenge:
Design an addition to the primary residence and expand the garage to three car bays.   In addition there was a need for renovating/expanding the kitchen, creating an entry (mudroom) space for the backyard pool/terrace; and although the client had four bedrooms and two baths on the second floor, there was a need for a more comfortable master suite.  In the end, the solution included moving the garage to the opposite side of the house and building a small addition to the residence.  This accomplished all of the client’s objectives and placed all of the spaces next to their appropriate adjacencies.
